Today I realized that I listened to WAY too much Dr. Demento in my childhood and teen years.
How do I know? Well, I saw this story on the Reuters "Oddly Enough" wire, and it had the headline "Falling woman saved by pile of..."
The first thought through my head, to finish that sentence, was the phrase "shaving cream" and it was sung, not spoken (iTunes link for the song).
By the way, I couldn't find the Dr. Demento version on iTunes, so I went with Dr. Kickbutt's Orchestra of Death when choosing the link above. I hope none of the Dementoids or Dementites who stumble upon this will be offended. If you are, well then you can go eat a big pile of... shaving cream, be nice and clean, shave every day and you'll always look keen.
