Those of you who have visited my FunDraw site have seen the logo, a giant balloon dog leashed to a construction crane.
I've always liked balloon dogs. While they're not any sort of personal icon, it was fun to incorporate one into the FunDraw logo. Balloon dogs are kitsch, sort of cool, and evoke fond childhood memories, thus I've received a lot of compliments on my logo.
Today, a number of friend requests came in via my MySpace page (most of them porn/dating/webcam spam). While I browsed one of the more legitimate ones I found one of the coolest pieces of art I've ever seen... a 3-D anatomical diagram of a balloon dog (see below, click on it to view larger). It was posted in a comment on one of the profiles I'd received a friend request from.

I immediately sent a friend request to the artist, Jason Freeny and asked him where I could see more of his art. He directed me to his MoistProduction.com site. He's got some really cool stuff, including balloon dog icons for OS X (available in the swag section), though beware that his pin-up section is NSFW (not safe for work).
Finally, my MySpace membership has turned me on to something really entertaining and worthwhile. Who woulda thunk it?
