Every night, when I put my son to bed, I say a blessing over him. I thought I'd share it.
Dear Lord,
Please bless this boy.
Keep him safe this night and always.
Help him grow up tall and strong,
Handsome and smart,
Kind, gentle, caring, and wise.
Give him lots of love in his life:
Lots of friends, lots of family.
And help him to do great things,
So the world is a better place because he is here.
Amen.
