So, I was browsing some tech sites today and saw an ad for a tech/coding forum called DaniWeb where people can post questions/answers/etc. about tech issues.

But having been online for 13+ years, seeing "DaniWeb" immediately made me think of Danni Ashe, an adult entertainer who owns one of the oldest and most successful softcore porn sites on the web, Danni.Com (front page displays nudity, click link at your own risk). She's actually in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most downloaded woman in history. She claims her photos have been downloaded over a billion times, and that's just from her sites. It doesn't include promo pics or pictorials on other sites.

Basically, if you're a guy and you've been online as long as I have, you probably know who she is too.

So, anyway I went over to her site to refresh my memory. And I noticed an odd link in her navigational sidebar... the word "Nippledome".

Of course, that immediately triggered my inner movie geek and put me into a Mad Max flashback: "The rules of Nippledome are simple: Two breasts enter, one breast leaves." (actual quote is "You know the law: Two men enter, one man leaves. ")

Then I had to have a lie-down because that just struck me as probably way funnier than it really is.

After some hunting on Google, because the link on their front page just goes to a "pay us to look at nude women" come on, I found out what "Nippledome" is/was. It was an e-zine dedicated to models with really large breasts that they published as part of the site from 1997 through 2000.

I was hoping it was some special section where women had nude gladiator battles or something. All the possibilities of what it could be were a lot better than what it turned out to be.

Sigh.
