		<description>You can keep perian but do remove Xvid and related AC3 (audio playback) codecs. The DVSD videos should play just fine. Perian by itself will take care of Xvid and AC3 audio.

		<description>Had the same problem ... on another blog they recommended to install Perian to solve the problem, it didnt work. 
So reading this one,  I removed Xvid but Keep Perian, and it worked fine.</description>
