Subject: Fresh job ; (id / 782922S14041)..
I smelled scam with this letter dated January 20 from My Delivery and googled the name "and scam." Your website came up. You have provided a real service.
It used to be that people would post ads in magazines offering to remail (or forward) letters. (Perhaps they still do.) The idea was that the receiver would think a piece of mail had been sent from the remailer's city. One wonders what is being remailed. Drugs? Anthrax? Certainly no one with any legitimacy would ever choose to resend anything.
One thing I will admit: the writer of this letter can spell. His/her grammar is correct.

Interesting dilema, I checked it out and even called the BBB. They said they couldn't find anything sketchy.
Although, now that I have seen your responses some things are queer. My contact was named "Maxim Loghorn" sound familar. I signed the contract but quit contact after finding outabou this new info. I am not sure what to do now. I keep getting calls from who I beleive to be the company to start excepting deliveries.
Has any one ever been paid. Any way, this sucks. What ever happened to honor. Isd there a way to nail these guys??

Thanks Greg....And yes, these folks are getting better! I get bogus emails frequently and they're usually pretty easy to figure out. But just the other day I received an email from Main Delivery, Inc. and it did look legit.

Of course it had all the same components that folks have listed here, and did provide what appeared to be a legitimate website....it had me fooled at first. But naturally some basic research was needed, and sure enough, here comes Greg with the red-flag confirmations! That website by the way is, and this is how it came in the email: www(dot)MainDelivery(dot)biz.
Obviously the (dot) would be .
How funny is that?!

It's really sad because it is bad out there and folks like me and the others here are the ones getting hurt the most. Although I do write for an online publication, it doesn't pay all that well and I need something to supplement my income as I have been laid-off from my regular profession since 2008. And no one is hiring!

I did forward the emails and the Word formatted employment contract to an attorney friend of mine, (thank God I have one of those!) and I'm waiting to hear from him with his take on things, and any advice he may have on what, if any actions I might take. If it looks like something worth passing on to you Greg or the other folks reading here...I will.

Thanks again!!

Here's another name that they going under. Main Delivery Inc. seeks candidates (the U.S. citizens or residents with a legal work permit) to join our team in the Department of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), devoted to the United States and Canadian regions, and to provide assistance with handling freight forwarding requests.
Well, this 1st-Delivery, Inc really looked great back in JUNE! Website was impressive and I emailed questions back & forth with Maxim Tihonovich and he responded as a true business person. Was assigned a manager named David Ivancov. I was sent packages to send forward. They sent me shipping labels via internet site so there was absolutely no costs out of my pocket except ink and paper for printing labels. Then they told me that we got paid once month, which I had no problems with. Well they issued a check to me on the 14th of this month (August), and I still have not seen it. I also have 2 packages here that they have not sent shipping labels for. These packages will probably get taken to the local authorities. Along with a complaint, for whatever good will become of that. I even verified their information with my local bank and they had no problems with their checks or them. This is second time for me, there will not be a third.

Thank You, for posting this. I got the exact same email and was considering taking part of this to make extra money. But I also had my suspicions. Thank You so much. You probably saved me a lot of grief.
