So, someone really didn't set his search parameters right at CareerBuilder because he e-mailed me invitations to a Panda Express job fair twice.

Our growth in this market has created new career opportunities for
GENERAL MANAGERS, ASSISTANT MANAGERS,
SERVICE CREW and KITCHEN CREW!

Come join us at our Career Fair to interview and learn about:
# Panda's Mission and Values and how we translate that into reality
# Career and personal development that occurs for our associates
# What helps us lead the Asian Food segment in the restaurant industry
# Why we are ranked 4th in New Unit growth by Nations Restaurant News
# Why joining Panda today might be the right move for your career

We have openings in the Seattle area!

YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS OUR OPEN HOUSE!

Au contraire, mon ami. I DO WANT TO MISS YOUR OPEN HOUSE! In fact, the only way you'd get me to your open house is trussed up Hannibal Lector style.

Now I'm not going to disrespect Panda Express employees. I worked two shifts frying tacos at Jack in the Box when I was 16 and hated it. I have great respect for anyone who can do that job day in and day out (though there is a McDonalds near my house that's staffed by idiots who can't get an order right, time after time after time, and I have great disrespect for those dumbasses).

But aside from two shifts of frying tacos, my resume is all about my experience in the tech and journalism fields. Panda express job opportunities do not match my resume or experience in any way.

Whenever I update my resume at Career Builder, I get flooded with offers to sell insurance. And now this??? I'm really beginning to wonder if having my resume searchable at CareerBuilder is worth all the trouble. Seems a lot of people commenting on the job scam posts here are too.
