Sorry about so many posts today, but something got into my head I HAD to share.

Okay... So a sequence of about 16 notes started running through my head. At first, I thought it was just the bass line from an eHarmony commercial, but I kept feeling that a guitar wail was coming any moment now, so I played those notes over and over again in my head until it clicked... they were surprisingly similar to the opening of "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey.

So I went and found an eHarmony commercial at YouTube and listened to the bass, then I went and found Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" at iMeem. The eHarmony music is obviously slower and more jazzy, but the bass guitar notes in it are really close to the bass notes in the opening of "Don't Stop Believin'".

I just have to wonder if this is intentional, like they did focus group studies to find that people felt more hopeful after watching the commercial with the hidden "Don't Stop Believin'" music vs. some other backing track.

Anyway, maybe I'm just hearing things. Listen for yourself and tell me if you hear it.

Thanks!
