Firefox Almost Rules At Brainhandles
Posted by Greg Bulmash in Online Marketing And SEO, Techno ThoughtsSo, I was looking at my Google Analytics stats for my traffic so far this year...

While IE just edged out Firefox, it was seriously tight. The four Firefox flavors that occupied the top 10 came in at a combined total of 43.82% of traffic, coming in just behind IE's 43.85 percent. But those are rounded percentages. If you add up the visits, out of the 35,000 or so since the beginning of the year, IE leads Firefox by a mere 8 visits. My biggest surprise was how much traction Google's Chrome browser picked up. Of course, Google is providing these stats...

I've noticed similar stats on my own site -- though for me Firefox definitely edges out IE. My theory is that the sort of people who read webcomics/webserials are more likely to be early adopters who are much more likely to be using Firefox.
Well, I'm using Chrome and I check in a couple times a day to see what's new in comments on the novel... So I'm sure I'm at least part of the Chrome stat!
@Mike: Checking in a couple of times a day for comments on the novel? Wow, there's proof of variable reinforcement in action.
umm.... the first step in curing a problem is to admit that it exists?
I've been reading for a few weeks since I found a link from somewhere, and I always use Chrome. It's got a few issues still, but I love how simple and streamlined it is. Anywho, great story thus far and yay for random statistics.
