Google AdSense reporting is broken for the second day in a row today. And no, it's not ironic that an AdSense ad follows this sentence. It's just the template.
Since Tuesday, October 23rd, webmasters have been complaining that while they may be getting accurate impression and click reporting for entire domains, the impression and click reporting for individual ad placements (using the "channels" feature) is coming in at tiny fractions of what it should be.
A google representative gave a quick response on this thread on the "AdSense Help - Troubleshooting" forum, acknowledging that they were aware of "reporting discrepancies", and that they were working on it, but no fix or further information has been forthcoming.
It's sort of odd that reporting breaks 3 days after they took it down for 4 hours on Saturday for maintenance. Maybe it isn't odd. Most big SNAFU situations come after a periodic update when new code adds a new bug to the mix.
This morning I tried to post to the thread, because my revenues are down 20% for a Wednesday (they were fine yesterday) and I have no method of really auditing everything with the reporting being out of whack. It made me want to bring it up to see if other people were seeing a downturn today. But I kept getting "An error was encountered while trying to post, please try again later."
So what's going on, Google? This is something you need to be more visibly on top of, not stashing away in a Google Groups comment thread that is having its own difficulties.

My channels are broken as well. I reported it to them as it's the 2nd day for me. I'll probably get the same form type answer.
make screendumps of your totals and breakout every day just in case.
[...] Yesterday, I wrote about how AdSense is reporting inaccurate figures for custom channels. Well for the third day in a row, and with no further word from Google. They acknowledged the problem on Tuesday in this thread on the AdSense Troubleshooting discussion on Google groups, but haven't given an update since. They also seem to have pegged that thread to the top of the group, so that everyone coming in sees it. [...]
